Using Plesk 7.0.1 for Windows on a Windows 2003 Standard Server.
Well... I applied the 7.0.1 patch, but the statistics.exe is still running the server at 100% everyday.
What does this process do?
I set a kill process scheduled job that kills the statistics.exe 5 times spread between 5AM till 9:30AM.
If there is process named statistics.exe, it is terminated. If there is no such process, nothing happens.
Do I need to have this process run?
What does it do?
I mean duh!! obviously this prob runs some statistics...but which statistics? Webalizer?
Is there a reason why it hangs the server at 100% .
Does it need to run once a day? can it be set to a different time?
How long does it need to run?
Anyone?
