Statistics Redirecting to https dropping the www.

Christopher McBride

Basic Pleskian
I have set up the statistics for all domains on my server, however the ones which have SSL enabled have only got certificates for www.domain.tld, not domain.tld.

When visiting the statistics pages, all non-ssl sites display correctly at www.domain.tld.

However when visiting any ssl sites from http://www.domain.tld/plesk-stat/webstat/, a redirect sends the browser to https://domain.tld/plesk-stat/webstat/ causing certificate errors.

Visiting https://www.domain.tld/plesk-stat/webstat/ works correctly.

Does anyone know how to override the redirect causing non-https requests to drop the www. ?

Thanks

You can try to create 'A' DNS record for www.domain.tld instead of 'CNAME' configured by default, probably it would help to avoid such a redirection.
