Stats not working..

ALL the stats in plesk and also awstats are not working correctly. All my domains say 0.0mb transfer. When I go to to view awstats it brings up a page with the following message:

Code:
This is the placeholder for Web statistics. If you see this page that means that statistics service has not run yet on your server. Statistics service is typically set to run once every 24 hours. If you do not see a change to this page in the next 24 hours contact your server administrator for assistance.

I am running Plesk 7.6. Thanks for the help guys!

It seems all my scheduled tasks were not working, that's why I didnt have any stats.

The problem was related to an error about invalid date format. I can post the solution when I get back to work if others are having the same issue, just reply to this thread.

I have the same problem, scheduled tasks are not working for me. It will be great if you can post a solution.
Thanks

For the life of me, I can't find the site which explains the problem and solution in detail, so here is what I remember:

If when you go into control panel and tasks and right click any of the Plesk tasks and select properties and get some error about invalid date, and 0x error code, here is the fix.

1.) Make sure View Hidden Files And Folders is checked.

Go into:
Documents And Settings -> All Users -> Microsoft -> Crypto -> RSA -> S-1-5-18 And DELETE the file d42cc...

I have no idea what the hell that file does, but when I deleted it, I was able to view task properties without the error message. Make sure you don't empty your recyling bin, before testing.

2.) Go into each Pleask task and reset the password to the admin password. I.E. When your viewing properties in the task tab, click set password and put the admin password in the field FOR ALL TASKS.

3.) Login to Plesk control panel and go to server, scheduler and just click OK, it should update the permissions and you should be good after that.

Hope it works for you guys, honestly no idea what the hell is going on, but worked for me.

I guess is not the same error as me.
I'm getting this: Unexpected query for column year

Yeah, that was not the error I was getting, maybe give this a try though, just make sure to backup the file you delete?

same here:

Unexpected query for column year
at (VRecordSet::get line 573)
at execute "C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe" (vconsoleapp::run line 138)
Execute file name: C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe

Hi there,

There is another fix for this problem. If you can grab the statistics.exe and statmang.exe file from 7.5.6 and bung it into admin/bin (overwrite the ones in there / make a copy first) you should see that perl.exe gets fired up again and the stats actually work - even retrospectively. This is for AwStats of course.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks JustinK101. That was exactly what I was looking for.

Why you always need to contact SWSoft to get updates like that, is still a mystery to me. Wouldn't it be much easier for them to post fixes like that on these boards and help all who read it at once instead of taking care of this case by case ?

While I understand they want to push everybody into paying support, I cannot imagine that's what they want for problems and patches with flaws in their software...

Regards,

Mav.

Yeah, I am not exactly happy with swsoft support, eveytime I email them for help, same template email requesting money for support. Horse ****!

Yep, and like I said: if this were for regular support questions and issues, I'd say they maybe want a little too much money, but I'd understand.

However, if we are talking about pure bugs or screw ups they are responsible for (like in this specific case), that attitude is unacceptable. Imagine the magnitude of the reaction if Microsoft would want you to pay for a support contract to patch issues with Windows or Office.

I'm really interested in a SWSoft's point of view on this...

Solution for All Scheduled Task

I was wondering if peoples are facing same issue like mine w r to No Scheduled Backup and no Other scheduled task, though I recived a mail that the command for backup, statistics and Drweb has been very much executed. But alas I could never see the output.

While looking int the issue I found that the this task are being executed by User 'Plesk Administrator' , I just added this 'Plesk Administrator' user and all my Scheduled task start working.

As further I found that when ever you modify the task using Backup Manager or else the user permissions get removed.

Hope plesk will work on this and releases a patch for the same.
