• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Stop mail from resolving locally

I assume I am having an issue where mail is being resolved locally and I dont want it to on some domains.

I have a growing amount of customers that are using Google Apps so we setup an A record to point to the site and MX record to point mail to Google servers.

This works fine but when you try to run a script on the site it tries to resolve locally and send it to the Plesk (9.3 in my case) server.

I had hoped that disabling mail through the Plesk Panel on that domain would fix it but it doesnt.

What do I need to do to make the server work sending mail so it actually looks at the MX and sends it to the right place.

Thanks much

Rich
