strange problem with new Mambo install, subdirectory

I setup a test domain to try out Mambo. The installation went fine (on the second attempt) and the files are installed, the database setup.

When I attempt to browse to

www.virtualdomain.com/CMS/index.php

I get a 404 type error:

The requested document was not found on this server.

I can see the file index.php in the CMS directory, this doesn't make any sense. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Brandon

This mystery has been solved - turns out for some reason (not sure why) PHP was not working for the site in question.
