• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Stuck in Plesk 'admin/setup' loop

New Pleskian
Hi,

I have just reinstalled my Plesk instance onto my server (fresh installation) and have signed in for the first time on the web. It has redirected me to "https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8443/admin/setup" and asked me to "register" with name, e-mail address and licence information.

I have tried to enter my Plesk Activation Code and even tried to start a Trial, but no matter what I do, when I click "Enter Plesk" to finalise, it just loops me back to the start. I cannot seem to move past this page.

The only errors I have seen in Plesk logs is to do with the Plesk Task Manager not running, but a --repair doesn't seem to yield any errors or issues.

I have tried "plesk repair all --y " to no avail.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
