• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Has anyone made a successful upgrade to yet 8.2? Also, I wonder when SW-Soft will get around to start a Plesk 8.2 thread.

Hi, I had some issue ufter upgrading to 8.2, hope this could help ...

(Plesk is running on Fedora Core 4)

After upgrading to 8.2, I get this by mail:
"The packages were installed successfully.
ERROR: Failed to download the package http://autoinstall.plesk.com/PSA_8.2.0/plesk-8.2.0-fc4-i386.inf3:
Couldn't resolve host 'autoinstall.plesk.com'
Not all packages were installed.
Please, resolve the above problem and try installing the packages again.
If you cannot resolve the problem on your own, contact product technical support for assistance."

DNS (named) does not start when psa re-starts after upgrade.

I had to start named by hand (service named start).

debian 3.1 from plesk 8.1.1 to plesk 8.2.0.

i had 2 problems

- webmail configutration was lost in /etc/apache2/conf.d/zz010_psa_httpd.conf (ServerAlias webmail.* ... was lost)

- german translation has failures (domain names / mail account names showing as %1 in the title)

all other things are up and running (as i see so fare)

p.s.
i will give the upgrade from debian sarge 3.1 to debian etch 4.0 a try this weekend

Debian 3.1 upgrade no probs although it took about 3 hours!

EDIT: Actually webmail.domain.com seems to be going to www for a couple of my domains.
