• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Switch session management to file based

New Pleskian
Hi,

Is it possible to switch plesk panels session management, for the panel its self, away from the horrendously slow database based sessions to file based sessions.

Database sessions are fine when we have only a few hundred subscriptions, but the bigger the subscription list gets (currently over 5000) it can take several minutes for the session to commit to the database, where as with a file based session, it would be practically instant.

is there any hidden option to do this? or any file replacement i can do to do this.

thank you

anyone? anyone even any remote idea why plesk performs so badly in this situation? why it can take upwards of 10 minutes to show the subscription list?
