  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Symbolic link to system/domain.com/conf folder

Robin McDermott

Basic Pleskian
I have having difficulty running a program (Miva) on a new domain. With domains where it is running fine, there is a symbolic link at the root of the vhosts/domain.com/conf pointing to the conf files in the vhosts/system/domain.com/conf directory. I don't recall manually setting this up, but perhaps I did. Could someone tell me how to set up this symbolic link or clarify how to do it in Plesk if I am missing something.

Thanks in advance.

Robin

Symbolic links work for all file types and directories. .php or not .php makes no difference. A symbolic link is something on the file system level. The file system does not care what a file does. It's just a bunch of data to the file system.
