Question Symbolic links do not seem to work on server

Hello all,

I'm having problems getting symbolic links to work (apache & nginx).

Check: Symbolic links are enabled.
Check: Direct access to your media files and folders is blocked.

If I then upload an image, it is not displayed or a "broken" link is displayed (Apache error message: 404 error, GET /path/to/file/xyz HTTP/1.0). The respective directories exist.

Hook at "Restrict ability to follow symbolic links" is unchecked.

Can someone please help?
