If the topic of WordPress website security is relevant to you, we would be grateful if you could share your experience and help us test the usability of this feature. Template for cross-browsers

All templates which i saw from sitebuilder have adopt themselve to the width of the screen. We tried template AV-236. on a 1024 x 768 pixel screen. With such a screen the generated website uses the whole width of the screen, i.e the pages stretch horizontally and outside the window, this is Only in Internet explorer but not Mozilla Firefox
This is NOT what i want. On a 1024 x 768 screen i want to see in the middle the wide content of the website. Do i have to regenerate the template myself or is there another way to let it appear the same in all browsers ?
