The update of Parallels Panel has failed/ Yum Issues

Have some trouble with autoupdate. This was my message today:

I can't install de microupdates.
Can anyone to help me, please??

I had errors this morning as well. Also I am using CentOS 6 64bit, not sure if that is a connection. My error was different however as it seemed to be a problem with updating PHP. Details here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=261445

I believe the issue is related to the recent release of CentOS 6.3.

yum update shows I have 138 packages ready for Upgrade. Does anyone know if it is safe to apply the O/S updates to bring my system to 6.3 and then re-run the Plesk update?

Same here

I'm also having the same error. My update ran tonight and the psa admin panel was down.
It came up after /etc/rc.d/initd/psa start again

I'm also using CentOS. But i'm not yet on 6.3

I Did however do some updates with yum update manualy

I updated the Perl packages because it coverd some leaks and with the hacking nowadays i don't want perl to be the cause. I did NOT update PHP packages because of trouble in the past with plesk and updating PHP.
I Also updated make, netinfo and some other minor side software. But not the main things to 6.3

So it seems the latest micro update is killing CentOS with up2dat security patches and not at 6.3 level.

Anyone at Parallels know what the problem is already ? Because it's not the mentioned 6.3

Is there a place / log

Is there a place /log where i can see what the exact error is or what component is failing ?
So a better in detail log then the auto update log in the /tmp dir ?

The final solution is so easy. Only you must add two lines in the yum file configuration:

/etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo
