Things seem to be lagging or going so slow after I have upgraded to 7.5.1

When you log on Plesk it takes a good 1 minute of loading time before it finally let you into plesk once your in .. it seem to load normally inside the control panel

ftp take forever to log into and seem to time out more often when uploading large file or mutilple number of small files like 20 small files that it cut off the upload and hangs there ..

Today I had a client wanting to use the server to send outgoing email so he could send it while he is traveling so I enable email relay with "authorization is required:" and pop3 at 5 minutes .. it takes email client "outlook" at least a minute or two to get the email out into the server ..

Any idea why all the lags and how to fix the issue?

Running Plesk 7.5.1 on Fedora 1

Thanks

Bill

I am glad to see I am not the only one with login issue and it will be correct in the next version hopefully .. it's quite annoying and you would think the browser is getting ready to time out ...

Adding the 2 line in the proftp conf worked and fixed my ftp issue .. no delay at all logging in ..

Added the -Rt0 to the smtp_psa then restarted xinetd and now my email seem to be speedy as well too .. I saw that faq earlier but I wasn't sure which agurement Fedora would use since the faq was using redhat as an example so I firgued Fedora is based from Redhat it should worked and tried it .. yup it did worked ..

Many thanks for your help .. (I hope the next upgrade doesn't wipe away my edits but that wishful thinking =P heh )

any "dangers" to removing reverse lookup?

I had the same issue w/ the slow SMTP and POP3 and was wondering if there are any "dangers" to turning off reverse lookup - whether they be server dangers or security ones?
