  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

i very confused whit ipv6

what is correct?

Breanne Crawford from Vultr Support reply me for this IP 2001:19f0:6401:3dc:5400:2ff:feda:5695 is correct but now I would like to fix that on Plesk Control Panel showing This IP address is not configured properly

You can run your websites without IPv6 and keep your server safe from IPv6 attacks.

This is your Private IP to the server.

From the memory, paths might be little different

Login to Vultr > Click on your VPS > Settings > IPv6

You will find your IPv6 gateway.

I believe this is your IPv6 gateway.

2001:19f0:6401:3dc::

add a reverse,

2001:19f0:6401:3dc::1 (notice the 1) - your server host name.

Reboot your server from Vultr control panel.

Now go to Plesk and add 2001:19f0:6401:3dc::1

You can run your websites without IPv6 and keep your server safe from IPv6 attacks.
- Sorry, I do not agree on this. The Plesk fully supports IPv6 now including Fail2Ban.

Sorry, the answer is for him, the thread isn't a public debate.
If I didn't know that was my server private IP.. How on earth... I'm gonna handle.. IPv6.

@SoufianeAb
I'm not saying you can't but it's not going to be easy day to day use by just adding addresses and wait for the traffic, there are too many angles you have to deal with for the v6 protocol, security, email, DNS, routing, logs, Nginx etc.

By the way, Vultr supports IPv6 as an optional protocol, you can use your Plesk server fully without it, you don't have to add them to Plesk even if you enable it on Vultr.

Your call.

I'm fully aware of this forum is not a public debate. If you can point me what is not safe with IPv6 and Plesk, that would be great!.

What is there to handle with IPv6 when you have Plesk taking care of everything?

As far as I know, now Plesk is fully support IPv6 out-of-the-box and it is safe to use. NGINX, APache, Mail, Fail2ban, Plesk Firewall now fully supports IPv6.

Even though this thread is marked as "Resolved" I'm still expecting answers to my questions from @Hextrator

As a "Plesk Certified Professional" you should able to answer my questions about Plesk and IPv6, I guess..

For me Plesk is up-to-date and beautifully written piece of software! which I'd recommend to everyone!
