Trying to connect using SQLyog or Heidi SQL

Hi,

I run Plesk v 8.2 on Windows 2003 Server Enterprise.

I however cannot connect to my server's MySql database using any of the client side program like SQLyog or Heidi SQL.

It used to work fine before I changed My server IP.

Can anyone tell me how to re-enable it?

check firewall settings and see if external mysql connection is allowed.

You got it right. The port needed to be unblocked
