Hi All,

Well I was wondering if I have to upgrade my ubuntu distrib while using plesk ?

apt-get upgrade ..

Or does Plesk take care of it ?

Thanks !

Do you mean

apt-get dist-upgrade ?

I do not recommend it. Plesk will be broken.
The best way is installing new supported version of Ubuntu and Plesk to new server and migration from old Plesk server.

No just apt-get upgrade, it's not about upgrade the distribution but the packets from the same distrib.

So the question was, shall I do myself or does Plesk takes care of upgrading the system packets ?

Yes, it is possible to update OS system packages, Plesk packages will be updated too according to necessary dependences.
