Issue Unable to access Plesk panel and retrieve license key on Contabo VPS

Hello Plesk Community,


I am having trouble accessing the Plesk panel on my VPS hosted by Contabo. The server came with Plesk preinstalled, but I cannot reach the login page. When trying to access it, I get DNS errors or the page simply doesn't load.


Moreover, I do not have the license key or the server IP to enter into the license recovery tools.


I have already contacted Contabo support, but I would like to ask the Plesk community if anyone knows how to recover or retrieve the license key or if there are any known issues with Contabo-hosted Plesk panels.

Hello, Vincenzo. There are no known issues with Contabo ongoing in the moment. If you haven't heard from them yet what you can try is to connect to the server with RDP and execute the following command:

plesk bin license.exe --retrieve
