I've configured a number of email addresses for various domains on my plesk installation. All are accessible via webmail, but not via email client (IMAP or otherwise, SSL or otherwise). The credentials all match just fine. The certificate seems fine.

Not experienced with this at all, so I'm not sure if there's a configuration step I've missed, but all the resources I've been able to find thus far haven't helped. It seems I've just missed a step somewhere along the line, but can't begin to imagine where.

Can someone point me in the right direction here?
 
Update - I was able to solve this issue by forcing mail.mydomain.com as the server address. Still have no idea why i couldn't connect without the subdomain reference.
