• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Unable to install php driver for mongodb

Muthukumar

New Pleskian
I am using Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 and selected php version is 5.6, i am unable to install mongo.so, if check terminal means that shows "mongo.so'", but i am unable to connect via php, i think multple versions of PHP makes conflict,
Kindly suggest any solution..?

By default there is no mongo module loaded for Plesk PHP5.6 version:

# /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php -m | grep mongo
#

You can compile by yourself it with

# yum install plesk-php56-devel gcc make
# /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/pecl install mongo
# echo "extension=mongo.so" > /opt/plesk/php/5.6/etc/php.d/mongo.ini
# plesk bin php_handler --reread

After that you can see that mongo.so module is loaded:

# /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php -m | grep mongo
mongo
