• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

[Solved] Unable to ping from my server.

Hello,

I've installed Plesk 11.5.30 on my Ubuntu 12.04 server. Installation has runned fine until the last step when I've had a network error message. I can connect to my Plesk Panel. I can ping localhost, and my server FQDN from a ssh session. I can't ping any outside domain. How can I fix that, please ?

Thank you

Edit : the problem is related to DNS, since adding the domain names in my hosts file makes ping work. Perhaps some wrong DNS setting on my machine.

Hello,

Please check your resolv.conf file and update the correct server resolver of your server

Hello,

It's solved. I had a bind problem related to the incompatibility between Plesk and apparmor, and I wonder if my resolv.conf problem wasn't due to the same incompatibility.

Thank you
