• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

is it possible to use windows plesk 6.5 and skip its email features? i would like to use linux plesk for email, and windows plesk for windows web sites. plesk is designed to be self contained so that is why i am asking if it will work or not. and if so are dedicated IP addresses necessary?

I have done this, it doesn't work perfectly but pretty well. (not PLESK on the Linux side though) I've simply disabled all the mail setup I could in PLESK and then set the MX record for the domain to the other server. Sadly there is no integrated way to control the mail from a single control panel. With you having PLESK on both machines it seems like that would be possible, but I don't believe it is.
