  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question Unsecured FTP for a single IP

Chrisg

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Debian 12.10
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.69 #3
The server is set to “Allow secure FTPS connections only”.
I would like to be able to allow a specific IP to connect via insecure FTP.
I've tried adding a rule to the Firewall, but I can't get the expected result.

Is this possible?
Thanks for your help.

Hi, @Chrisg.

No, it is not possible to allow "non-secure FTP connections" for a certain IP address when the "Allow only secure FTPS connections" policy is activated in Plesk. The security policy settings in Plesk apply globally and cannot be configured on a per-IP basis for FTP connections.
