• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Update 8.1.0 to 8.1.1

It seems that the auto installer is locked and did not finish the update.

How can I unlock the autoinstaller and restart the update manually from the command shell?

I tried to reinstall but still I cannot access the plesk web gui.

I am going to download the plesk .rpm file now manually.

With which command can I run it?

I still cannot access the web gui but no one is answering here :(

This happens if I try to start the auto installer manually and want to list the needed packages

Preparing system for Plesk installation

Ok I am one step further.
I managed to get the plesk httpd running again but it is giving me an error message

ERROR: PleskFatalException
StatInfo->getProductVersion failed: file_get_contents() failed:

It seems that the Plesk Install Files are broken.

Is there a command to force the Plesk Installation to redownload and install everything again, also the admin files?

You need to find Plesk 8.1.1 distributive on your server and force installation with following command:

# rpm -Uhv <Plesk packages> --force

By default Plesk upload packages into /root/psa/PSA_8.1.1/ folder. Please check it up.
