  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Basic Pleskian
Hello everyone

Latest plesk panel update broke our webmail. Not a single webmail on server works..i get this error when i try to open webmail..

ERROR: Wrong 'mbstring.func_overload' option value and it wasn't possible to set it to required value (0). Check your PHP configuration (including php_admin_flag).

We have
OS CloudLinux Server 6.7 (Aleksei Gubarev)
Plesk version 12.0.18 Update #67, last updated at Oct 4, 2015 02:31 AM

Do anyone have any idea how to fix that? Our clients are going berserk so a quick solution is a thnx...

Do you have specified any custom values for mbstring.func_overload in PHP Settings -> Additional configuration directives ?

Im not seeing PHP Settings -> Additional configuration in panel anywhere or do you mean maybe in php.ini?
Explain a bit more where should i look..

Click on your domain, then Websites & Domains tab, PHP Settings and Additional configuration there.

Ok, i will remember it for next time.

No there is nothing on additional php configuration.

I manage to calm down clients by replacing roundcube with horde but that is not permanent solution.

Loaded Configuration File /opt/alt/php54/etc/php.ini

mbstring.func_overload 0

I will try tweaking a bit and see if anything changes when i replace 0 with some other value
