Issue Update crashes when S3FS backup folder is present

I have added S3FS so i can be able to take backups to Amazon S3 Storage and it works perfectly fine for making backups and restoring. The problem is when the update occurs. If the update contains fixes for the backups function it checks permissions for that directory and can't corrent them so the update crashes. The only way to get around this is to go and change the backup dir to the deafult dump and after the update to my s3fs mount. I am amazed that there is not an addon for S3 Storage Backup still.
