Hi everybody,

I am searching for an information :

I am currently using a Dedicated server on Centos 5.2 with 8.6.

I am running on Apache 2 with PHP 5.1.6
To work with Magento, I need to update my php version to at least PHP 5.2 version

What is the best way to update my PHP version on my Plesk ?

- Is it possible to update the php version with the Plesk Admin Panel ?
- Do I need to use a specific RPM ?
- Can I update via SSH (but will plesk will accept that ?)

Many thanks for your advice !!

I am trying to update my PHP using yum and I get the following errors:

Error: Missing Dependency: libc-client.so.0 is needed by package php-imap
Error: Missing Dependency: libpq.so.3 is needed by package php-pgsql
Error: Missing Dependency: policycoreutils is needed by package awstats

I am on an AS4 VE running Plesk 8.6.

How can I get past this?

That means that you don't have the base/updates channels on the system. Is actually that a Redhat Advanced Server 4 install?
