  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Update plesk 11.0.9 to 11.5.30 - licence Check failure

AdelM

Basic Pleskian
Hi

I tried to update plesk from 11.0.9 Update #59 to 11.5.30 (from plesk panel) but I'm getting the below errors :

upgrade_failure.jpg

Error in execution of '/root/parallels/PSA_11.5.30/plesk_getkeyinfo.sh'

Failed to check whether a new license key is available.
Error in execution of '/root/parallels/PSA_11.5.30/plesk_getkeyinfo.sh'

Failed to check whether a new license key is available.
Continuing with the upgrade without having an appropriate product license key will result in the installation of a default license key with limited functionality. Administrators are advised to first acquire the appropriate license key before continuing with the product upgrade.

Plesk panel is provided by my hosting company

CPU GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Xeon(R)CPU L5640 @ 2.27GHz
Version Parallels Plesk Panel v11.0.9_build110120608.16 os_Debian 6.0
OS Debian 6.0.7
Key number PLSK.02029039.0017

Thanks for any help.

Best regards

As far as I see it is Virtuozzo Plesk license:

Type: Parallels Plesk Panel 10.x/11.x and Later for Parallels Virtuozzo Containers (Lease)

So, use Virtuozzo EZ templates for Plesk upgrade or contact your sales representative regarding this license issue.
