Updates & Upgrades doesnt open on new installed plesk 12

Hello,

I've just installed Plesk 12 on a new server.
After that I saw that I needed php 4.x in order to start migration accounts from an older server
so when I press to "Updates & Upgrades" I get connection time out.

Even If I try this through Remote Desktop from the server localy I get the same.

I did check the firewall rules but the port of the updater 8447 is allready on Allow.

AutoinstallerAllow incoming connections from all on port 8447/TCP, profiles: domain,private,public

Any suggestions?

I just rebooted the server, and not the "Updates & Upgrades"
well... problem solved but ..that wasn't a good experience.

Some services need a complete restart, before you can use it's new configurations. A lot of these commands can be as well found here:

You can use a work around. Like go to plesk site , download plesk auto installer. File name will be ai.exe. Then run it it will on server. It will open the upgrades and updates section for you.
