Updating Centos 5.1/Plesk 8.3

We setup a new Centos 5.1 server last month running Plesk 8.3 and are wondering if we need to add anything to the exclude list for updating and maintaining the base OS using YUM from the standard repositories. Any tips on what to watch out for?
