• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi.

I heard that often times there is problems updating PLESK.

Is it save to update 8.4.0 directly to 9.0? Is it possible to roll back if errors occur?

Can I also update PHP 5.2.0 to the latest version (5.2.9)? Can it be done without updating PLESK?

Can I also update MySQL 5.0.32 to the latest version? Can it be done without updating PLESK?

My server:

Debian (psa v8.4.0_build84080426.00 os_Debian 4.0)
PHP 5.2.0 (5.2.0-8+etch11)
MySQL 5.0.32 (5.0.32-7etch5)
