Upgrade added php 5.6, yet can't remove older php interpreters.

I tried to remove the "php 5 from os vendor" in add /remove components,php interpreters
and it tells me plesk is dependent on it.

If I remove the php 5.4 via CLI will it kill plesk, or will it be ok as plesk installed php 5.6?

Why you can't just switch to more modern PHP version in subscription in scope of "multiple PHP versions" Plesk feature?

I had already done that, it was just a question as to why attempting removal gives a message that plesk requires it.
