Question Upgrade Mysql 5.1 to 5.6 on centos 6.8 and plesk Onyx

Hi, i've a centos 6.8 dedicated server with 90 domains and plesk onyx 17 installed.
My mysql server is 5.1.73 because centos repository not have the 5.6 or 5.7 version.
What guide i've to follow? Is safety to upgrade mysql or thereis the possibility to lost data?
Can you indicate me a guide to do it correctly?
