Upgrade Mysql 5.* to 5.6

I updated my plesk 11 to plesk 12 (ubuntu 12) but mysql is not updated to version 5.6 (I read on the forum that it's supported). Do I have to do another step?

Hi kude,

please be aware, that Plesk is not shipped with MySQL. You have to upgrade/update MySQL on your very own.

Install/Upgrade to MySQL 5.6 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS ( online - tutorial from rtcamp )​

Hi,
Plesk does not ship any mysql builds on Ubuntu, instead we rely on OS vendor repositories.
For example Ubuntu 14 universe repository provides mysql-5.6
