Upgrade Path from Redhat 9 (Plesk 7.5.4) to FC4 ( Plesk 8 )

I'm looking for some information on the upgrade path from Redhat 9 (Plesk 7.5.4) to FC4 ( Plesk 8 ).

I was thinking:

Backup Plesk 7.5.4 on Redhat 9

Upgrade via yum to FC1, then FC2, then FC3, then FC4

Then reinstall Plesk 7.5.4

restore from backup

Then upgrade to Plesk 8 via the updater.

Any ideas?

the backup/restore to 7.5.4 is good to do. I don't think you have to do the fc1 till frc4 routine. I think you can skip some. Try a fedora forum to see what steps you can skip. It will be a hard upgrade anyhow
