New Pleskian
Hi, first time here.

I need to update plesk but If I try, my system tell me that my server has not enough resources .
My provider suggested me to stop plesk, upgrade it and then restat plesk, using ssh connection maybe for you it is easy but not for me.
I can use mac terminal, I know that I have a Centos OS anhe I can copy and paste all you tell me :)

This is my version:

Parallels Plesk Panel v11.0.9_build110120608.16 os_CentOS 6

anche this is my info (I don't know if they are correct)

~# /etc/init.d/psa stop
~# /etc/init.d/psa start

Thanks

Marco

Marco, to upgrade Plesk just running the following command on SHELL and then follow the procedures ..
Code:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller

Thanks a lot Joseph,
my provider told me to stop Plesk before upgrade as my server has not enough resources, will this command stop and restart automatically Plesk?
Thanks a lot

Yes, it does restart Plesk service ...
However am still NOT convinced by the reason you want to update plesk ...

By resources, what do you mean? HDD / RAM / CPU or?

Why do you think that upgraded Plesk will work better in case of lack of resources? I suggest you resolve resources issue first and then perform Plesk upgrade.

NON of those can be resolved by upgrading plesk ...
If RAM is not enough, you should ask for more ...BTW how much RAM do you have allocated to your VPS?

I updated now and this was my scope, not to solve ram and dcachesize issues but for security...
Thanks a lot for your answers, here is my situation:
