• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

TITLE

Upgrade to 18.0.37 can lead to renaming of service plans

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.36 to 37, Debian 10.10, x86-64

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

If service plans of different resellers have the same name, they are automatically renamed. A strange surprise for resellers and their clients.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

E.g. if you have 5 resellers on the server with the same service plan name, before it was shown like this (no need to be unique):

Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)

After the upgrade a numbering will be added by Plesk automatically:

Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 2
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 3
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 4
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 5

ACTUAL RESULT

New service plan names:

Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 2
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 3
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 4
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month) 5

EXPECTED RESULT

No change of service plan names.

Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)
Webhosting Gold (45 € / month)

We have the same problem. Do we have to fix all the names and sync all the plans? :(
