• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello

Anyone already did the Upgrade from SB 1.1.x to 2.0? We're running sitebuilder with around 300 users, and would be glad for some feedback from people that successfully upgraded Sitebuilder in a similar environement.

I'd be glad for any information on how the upgrade process went, thanks :)

Before the upgrade from SiteBuilder version 1.0 to version 2.0 it is necessary to make a back up copy of the folder /usr/local/sitebuilder and the database used by SiteBuilder with the following commands.
#tar sudo tar zcvf sitebuilder1_bkp /usr/local/sitebuilder
#mysqldump -usb_user -psb_password sitebuilder > sitebuilder1_db_bkp.sql

Then you should upgrade the Sitebuilder to v2.
#rpm -Uhv Sitebuilder-2.0-xxxxxxxx.rpm

After that you should open sitebuilders' url , set proper values in the install form, click OK.

if everything is done properly- no problems will occur. ;)
