upgraded, odbc error loading plesk

Upgrade to 7.6 from 7.5.6 seemed to work fine, except that the plesk system won't work
https://localhost:8443 gives the following:

ERROR: PleskMainDBException
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

anyone got any ideas? since the files are encrypted so i can't read the lines of code and work it out myself.

managed to fix this by installing the mysql odbc driver vr 3.51.
shouldn't plesk have done this for me?
ah well, at least it's working now (it seems)
