• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi

A few of my clients want the option to use PHP 5 so I'm considering upgrading to 8.1

Just wondering how straightforward the update is ?

Will all my sites that run happily at the moment on PHP4 continue to run on PHP4 after

Do I need to do anything with my 7.6 license or will it be automatically converted to an 8.1 license during the upgrade (I have a free upgrade option as I only bought Plesk in September

Will mail enable and all similar applications be upgraded and work as before ?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just a bit nervous about doing the update as everything is working really well at the moment !
