• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Sorry if this gets asked a lot; but need to upgrade MySQL to latest version. Can i Just upgrade or will it break Plesk??
Has anyone done this yet and it's worked? i am on Centos5 running on a 1and1 VPS. Just trying to upgrade to 10.3.1 at the moment and it's taking some time :|

MySQL 5.5.19 will function normal at Plesk 10.3.
It is safe to upgrade if you want too.

Commands:
1. Use mysqldump to dump your database
Code:
mysqldump -h localhost –all-databases -uadmin -p > /root/dump.sql
2. Backup whole server
3. Check all databases and fix errors
Code:
mysqlcheck –all-databases -af -uadmin -p
4. Upgrade MySQL
Code:
$ yum upgrade mysql
5. Execute upgrade command for database
Code:
mysql_upgrade -h localhost -uadmin -p
6. Check after upgrade the databases
Code:
mysqlcheck –check-upgrade –all-databases -uadmin -p
For a daily maintenance you could use "crontab -e" as ROOT and insert
Code:
[B]0 1 * * * mysqlcheck –all-databases -ao -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` > /dev/null 2>&1[/B]
