J Jim12 New Pleskian May 12, 2016 #1 Hi, I'm on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I'd really like to move up to one of the latest versions. I've just updated Plesk from 11.5 to 12.0.18. Will PLESK still work after I upgrade Ubuntu?

IgorG Plesk addicted! Plesk Certified Professional May 12, 2016 #2 Ubuntu 16.04 is not officially supported yet. All supported OSes can be found here https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/12.5/software-requirements/#s2-1

J Jim12 New Pleskian May 12, 2016 #3 Thanks that's a help. But before that, I mean if I upgrade Ubuntu 10.04 to, say 14.04, will my current PLESK 12.0 just keep working?

IgorG Plesk addicted! Plesk Certified Professional May 12, 2016 #4 Dist-upgrade feature is supported only for Plesk 12.5 - https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/12.5/a...ver-administration/distupgrade-support.74627/

J Jim12 New Pleskian May 12, 2016 #5 Yes, I understand that. Does that mean I can't do the dist-upgrade manually without re-installing PLESK?

J Jim12 New Pleskian May 12, 2016 #7 So, is there a suggested upgrade guide for this? All I'd like to do is upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04, and keep PLESK. For example, can I update to PLESK 12.5 on 10.04? Has anyone else done this?

IgorG Plesk addicted! Plesk Certified Professional May 12, 2016 #8 You can't upgrade Plesk to 12.5 version on Ubuntu 10.04 because this version of Ubuntu is not supported by Plesk 12.5 - https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/12.5/software-requirements/#s2-1 Upgrade guide is here - https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/12.5/deployment-guide/upgrading-plesk.70322/ I'd suggest you install fresh Plesk 12.5 server on latest supported Ubuntu version and migrate your Plesk this new server. Or use backup/restore migration procedure if you can't use the additional server.
