Resolved URGENT: Help needed! Crashed my web server access rights

Hey,

my web server on plesk is broken:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache Server at vote.musoc.de Port 443
----

It seems I've broken it when accidentally changing the group of user www-data to syslog.
Now I don't seem to be able to change it back because I do not now the correct groups, that www-data needs to be assigned to.
Who can help?

As you seem to be handy with SSH, have you run the command?

plesk repair fs

Without any additional flags that should recurse through both your vhosts and system files.

Great to hear - Plesk is finicky about permissions so customizing ownership can give it a bad cold.
