Resolved Urgent Help Postfix on Plesk

Hi,

i need urgent help. The IONOS -RZ moves my cloud-server to new platform (i think from vmware to kvm). After they made this yesterday all works fine (ip-adress and all other is the same). There were 5 indentical servers. On 3 all works fine. On two servers all works, except the postfix service. In plesk-panel i cant start the postfix server : internal error.
When i log in to putty, and make a systemctl status postfix it is active and running.
What can i do - need urgent help!

Could you please check /var/log/maillog? Are there any entries similar to "starting the Postfix mail system" that are followed by errors?

and on the console i am looking to service postfix status it tells me active (running)

i solved it: the master.cf was 0byte on this two servers. i copy it back from a backup and postfix runs. Why this can happened ??? I dont know! Any ideas?

One question (because soon, we will be subject to IONOS Cloud Server system transfers ourselves) Do you use IPv6?
In the advance schedules that we've read, all of the cloud server IPv4 addresses will remain the same, but all IPv6 addresses will be new - That's quite a lot of local re-config(!) for users. In addition the schedule predicts some issues with Plesk setups, after the transfers... Ironically, Postfix is never mentioned though.

Edit: You've solved it now as this was being typed. Those master.cf files were corrupted / damaged / lost which caused your issue. Well spotted.
