• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Use Plesk for Internal administration - Domain settings only... Possible?

I'm interested in trying to use Plesk just as an IIS web manager for internal use only. Customers shouldn't have access to it so I don't need any email, ftp, database or any of the other stuff available.

When I try to login after installing Plesk I run into "Selecting default components". Theres alot of stuff to choose there, but everything is grey'ed out so I can't select anything. Seems logical since I opted not to install anything. When I just click "ok" it just returns to the same site.

My question is now, is it possible to make it work without ftp, email, database etc. ?

Thanks in advance,
MisterK
