Using different domain with exisitng hosting account

Recently we transferred the name attached to our hosting account to another provider. What I would like to do is use a different domain in place of the one we moved so everything regarding the hosting setup remains the same, it's just accessed through a different domain.

The reason for all this is that this website has been moved to a new host but we still need to be able to access the old website to transfer some of the data.

If there was some way to access the old site through the IP address in some way that would be fine too but I can't see how to do that either. I did try using site preview but that isn't working. Possibly because it's a database driven typo3 site?

Any advice appreciated. Here's our server details:

Plesk version: psa v8.0.1_build80060618.11 os_RedHat el4
Operating system: Linux 2.6.9-22.EL
