• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

/var/lib/psa/dump filling up

Hullo there,

I'm running Plesk 10.1.1 on Ubuntu 2.6.18-028stab070.14.

All of my domain backups write to an external FTP server, but nonetheless every week or so I'm getting an message telling me that my Plesk is full, and the server starts to become erratic. When I see where the space is being lost, it is always in /var/lib/psa/dumps which fills up with backups.

I have done a search for this and can see that it's a semi-common problem, but for most people the problem is in /var/lib/psa/dumps/tmp. Mine aren't going into tmp, just straight into /var/lib/psa/dumps

I wondered if anyone has had this problem before, and knows why this is happening, and if there is an efficient way to stop it? It's fairly annoying having to manually delete backups from this location every week.

Thanks!

Charles
