Pecnet

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Plesk Obsidian
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.48
Hello,

I have a problem with server under plesk -> Plesk Obsidian 18.0.48

It tells me I have docker and in folder ->
/var/lib/docker/devicemapper/devicemapper

I have a DATA file of 100 giga

see picture ->

I don't know this file and I don't know the content.

Can I delete this file via ftp?

If I delete will I have another problem?
I mean by this this file is a dependency is it linked to another service?

1. Docker is not installed on my server, (I checked in extensions)
2. I searched on the internet and I did not find much information except this order
that I tried and send you the result in image:

systemctl status docker -> Markup 2022-12-21 at 11.45.36.png

Can I safely delete this DATA file?

Thank you

There has been a similar thread, maybe it is helpful?

no it really doesn't help
I have already read this thread, there is no solution as far as I know.

I don't know if I can delete or not

Docker is not needed to run Plesk. If you are not using Docker for anything else, you can stop it (that's obviously already done, and then you could maybe remove it completely from your system. It is not an OS component.

Thank you for your feedback, I deleted the heavy files via ftp,

how can i check if i deleted 100%
if i delete via ftp he moves his files to another temporary folder?

Thank you

FTP does not copy a file to a "trashcan" or similar by default. Normally it should be gone.
