• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

hi,

yesterday i ran an update on the server (suse 11, plesk 9.2.2). after it was finished i could no longer receive mail. i did much searching and troubleshooting but now i am stuck.

I found the exact cause of the problem. when I run:

postmap -s /var/spool/postfix/plesk/virtual

there are only 2 email names in the file. I have tried to do:

postmap hash:/etc/postfix/virtual and
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual

and i have no change. I have about 30 email accounts on the server. I would just like to know how i get the mail names back into the virtual.db.

I am hoping someone can help quickly, and thank you in advance.

thanks for the help parallels. A REAL 'thank you' to the members, here, for posting solutions in other threads. After much much more searching I finally ran the mchk, then reinstalled postfix. that worked. there still has to be an easier way. if i ever find one i will post it here.
