Issue Webmail error: "You do not have adequate permissions to carry out this operation"

I have encountered an error when attempting to view my email inbox using either horde or roundcube. Whenever I do so, I am logged out automatically with an error message saying that "You do not have adequate permissions to carry out this operation". Anyone experienced this before and managed to fix it? Thanks.

What’s your permissions set to for the /var/log/mailnames directory
