Webmail giving blank screen

Hi,

Horde is giving a blank screen on normal domain access:

If I goto then I get a blank screen,
https://webmail.domainname.com/

if I goto
https://webmail.domainname.com/horde/imp/login.php
then I get the login screen.

But logging in as a user gives,
https://webmail.domainname.com/horde/imp/redirect.php
and a BLANK screen.

(obviously 'domainname' is an example)

I have not changed anything on the server. Absolutely nothing.

I have looked through this forum thoroughly (and the internet) and this problem is common. However, there does not appear to be a solution posted. The problem has occured after upgrades etc, but nothing has changed in this instance.

The psa-horde.log file is giving nothing and neither are the apache logs.

Does anyone have any ideas, because I am desparate. My company relies on Webmail and relies on me.

It is really difficult to say without any error messages or looking into your server. A couple of thoughts, did you update or modify Zend Optimizer, IonCube? Stop or remove these Php addons, and see if that helps. You might want to update to the latest release.

No I have updated nothing. And the logs tell me nothing. There was a forum post were it said SWSOFT had solved the problem, but the poster did not say what the solution was.

Updating? Hmmm what fun that is with plesk. I am just about to post on the 8.1 forum about backup compatibility.

I have two servers: server 1) 7.5 and server 2) (8.0/8.1)

The backup extension PleskX (8.0) made a successful backup of a 7.5 domain. I restored that OK to my 8.0 server.

I ugraded to 8.1 on the 8.0 server, and the previous 8.0 backup is no longer a valid archive! So I make a PleskX (8.1) domain backup on my 7.5 server. And of course my 8.1 server says that is not a valid backup aswell...

So I would like to move everything to my 8.1 server but I cannot.

Thanks for the help.

However, recompiling things etc. is really a non-starter.

So I have just migrated the domains to a new 1and1 business server (it had to be done anyway.) Of course it took me a day to get email and mailing lists working. And the website is down, but hey? these are only small problems (all caused by plesk.)

Opinion? I would actually be embarassed to sell some of the software SWSoft produces. But I am stuck with it for the medium term.
